The animal park on the outscurts of Berlin is Germanys largest by area. It has breedinggroups of 2 species of elephants, a fantastic collection of ungulates and a carnivore house that large, that it has indoor free-range enclosures and a large walk through rainforest  where giant bats are flying around your ears

Before we enter the zoo we se the baribals to the right. After the entrance we turn right at the wisent to meet the golden eagle. Following the path to the right we soon arrive at the enclosures for spectacled bears and a huge enclosur for polar bears. On the left hand we then are following a new path to meet Caucasian zebus. On the left after a while we then have the childrens zoo. Here we find on the left racoons, pygmy goats. On the right are pot-bellied pigs, budgerigars and dingos just to mention a few. The next large area is the petting area with different sheep and goat species. Turning right when outside again, passing some cages for rabbits we soon reach the eagle owls. Here we turn left. On the right hand we soon after see pg-tailed macaques and yellow-breasted cpuchins. Back on the main path we then meet nordic ducks and geese and next to it an aviary for gulls. Now we are in the hoofstock area with different breeds of sheep, goats, cattle, donkeys and horses. Its followed by an aviary for African storks, like the abdimstork. Turning left we see the reindeer, behind it are som cages for small felines, like the caracal. Here we also find honey badgers and mungos. Now standing in front of Alfred Brehm house, once the worlds largest zoo-house, we go around it to see tigers, lions, jaguars and other big felines on the left hand. On the right hand leopard cats, margays and clouded leopards to mention a few. Then going in side we of course are haing the night cages for the felines, as well as 2 indoor enclosures for lions and tigers. In between the cages are small aviarys for birds and bats. The main feature though is the central rainforest hall, where gigantic bats and birds are flying above your head. Going out side on the right side we see the prairie dogs. Climbing a few stairs we then see African and Humboldt's penguins. Stepping down again we see cheetahs followed by the world largest aviary for vultures. On the right side are Chapmann's zebras. On the left side then its time to se the snow leopard. Going forward we then see maned wolves and bush dogs. Then following are cranes, at the crossing we go right to se more cranes. On the left hand we see striped hyenas. Following the path to the left we see bobcats, wolves and Indian marten. Back on the main path and turning left we meet aardwolves, brown hyenas, spotted hyenas and afterwards the dhole. Across the hynas is the pachyderm house, this one is as well quite huge. It is home to a breeding groupe of African as well as Asian elephants, beside these you find Indian rhinos, manatees, hyrax's, echidnas and several tamarins. Behind the house you find several species of zebras, Somali wild ass, ostriches and giraffes. Across it we find several species og lemurs like the ruffed lemurs, you can enter there enclosure if you want. Out side again turn right to see crowend cranes befor we enter the giraffe house, home to different species of rodent. Out side we see mountain reed bucks, they are followed by Barbary macaques and the northern bald ibis. The following area is for dessert antelopes, like the addax, Arabian oryx and Mhorr gazelles. We then follow the African buffalo enclosures, showing 2 subspecies. Climbing the mountain and at Stella's sea eagle we turn right we meet bearded vultures, European cranes, mufflond and the wild cat. Turning right at the moose we follow theire enclosure and afterwards the one of the chamois. The we see the snowy owls and wolverines and deside if we want to go on the top of the hill to se the ravens or just follow the hill down seeing the Alpine ibex. At the bearded vultures we turn right to see Sichuan takins and blue sheep. Next to them are Siberian lynx and across markhors. On our road we then see Marco Polo Sheep and Central Chinese Gorals, as well as Thorold's deer. Going down the hill we see the monkey house with lemurs, gelada baboon's, diana monkeys, patas monkeys and white-collared mangabeys. Out side again we see mishimitakins, behind them are the musk ox and the golden takin. Then it's time to see an aviary for ibis's. Now we have reached an area with several aviaries for birds of prey and owls, as the martial eagle, bald eagle and harpy. Behind them are 3 aviaries for parrots, like the Buffon's macaw and blue-headed macaw. Then it's time to see the gayal as well as other exotic domestic cattle. In this area we also find the thamin and hog deer. At the aviary for herons we turn right to see Persian fallow deer. Now we have reached the kangaroo enclosures, the one on the right you can enter and find yellow-footed rock wallabies. The one on the left is home to western grey kangaroos. Across we find llamas and gunacos. From a long distance we have heared but now are seeing the flamingos, on the left is a small house home to grey parots. Another domestic species are the on the right hand following Arabian and Bactrian camels. Across we find striped skunks, lesser pandas, secretary birds and white-tailed porcupines. Then turning right we son after see the Nilghai, wild boar and Chaco peccari. Following are some ducks, geese and cranes, at the Sarus crane we turn right and see alpacas and vicugnas. Behind is the restaurant, on the terasse are som aviaries for cockatoos. Inside the restaurant we have the zoos aquaria, home to especially fresh water fich as the rainbowfish as well as tropical sea fish like the sea horse. Outside we go the stairs on the right hand down to thewater buffalos. Here we turn left and see the lar gibbon and the ring-tailed lemurs. At the lemurs we turn right to se kiangs, Przewalski's horse, kulans and Pere David's deer. Now we have reached enclosures for cranes and tufted deer, where we turn left to see Rocky Mountain goats and Japanese macaques. Behind it we find the pheasantry with tragopans, eared phesants and white-necked cranes among others. Then passing som parrot aviaries, home to Boduinus amazones among other, named after a former director of the sister zoo in the city center. Passing the old castle Friedrichsfeld and then turning right we reach the crocodile house. The fitst part is home to different turtle species, the next part to cracodiles and alligators. Going out the way we entered we se on the right the snake house, especially renown for its poisoness snakes, a sectiTurning right and after a while turning right again we se the Siberian crane and the red-crowend crane. Opposite are the sun bears, there house also is home to several rodent species. Now we have reached the pelican lagoon, dont be scared if they some times on the middle of the path. Now we have reached the deer area, with 8 different deer species, like the Bactrian deer, Barbary deer and the chital. At the sikas is a path leading to the exit and the wisent once more, in this area we also find the wood bison.
